An affiliate of Pony Baseball, Inc. Pony League- The Pony league diamond, with 6,400 square feet and 80-foot base paths, serves as the transition program from the small diamonds to the regulation diamonds. The pitching distance is 54 feet. Little League goes from a 60 foot base path at age 12 to a 90 foot base path at age 13. In Pony Baseball, we feel this is entirely too drastic a change. The Pony League continues our theory that field sizes should grow incrementally with the development of a player's body.
